I've uploaded v1.3 to the gallery. This version replaces the HurrWarn map with an AccuWeather map which is updated every 15 minutes instead of every 3 years :) It also adds map animation and expands the context menu options.

2003?!? That wouldn't be very useful would it. I'll monitor their website for a bit and if the images are not being updated I'll find a different site to use. Thanks.

Customized animation will be a feature in the next version soon to be released.

Great widget! However, the image for the Atlantic region is dated 7/22/03. Is that mistake or is it really the date the image was last updated?

Thanks for the feedback. From my testing Yahoo! Widget Engine isn't capable of displaying animated gifs so unfortunately pointing the Widget at one just doesn't work. I'll give some thought toward some kind of animated display.

I love this widget. The only thing I would add is the ability to use animated gifs like the one from this web site: http://sirocco.accuweather.com/sat_mosaic_640x480_public/IR/isahpac.gif
