November 13, 2005 · version 1.5.2 AnkitAwesome widget. Couple things to say though. For the actual wpm based on 5 characters a word, when you're measuring based on less than a minute (ie i have mine set to 10 wpm so i can measure smaller sentences and such in AIM), it seems to divide by 5 and then multiply by, in my case, 6. You should set it to multiply then divide to get more accurate results. I don't know how easy that would be, but I can help you out with the source code if you'd like. I don't know how much help I'd be considering I only really know C++, but I can try.

The DLL sits inside the widget, but on Windows when you run a zipped widget it is first unzipped to "C:Documents and Settings[USERNAME]Local SettingsApplication DataPixoriaKonfabulator", so the full path to the DLL will be "C:Documents and Settings[USERNAME]Local SettingsApplication DataPixoriaKonfabulatorTyping Speedometer.widgetTyping Speedometer.widgetContentsTypingSpeedometer.dll"

I don't quite understand what you mean. I just downloaded it from my Mac and it works just as I would expect - it downloads a disk image (.dmg file) and when you open that, the widget is inside and it works fine for me. Did you click the Apple download button?
