the problem I had is one, it gives you and option of time, but yet it doesn't stop. Secondly when I stop I would like to know the average typing speed. It does have a highest rate, but I usually can't read it because the window is too small and whatever the number is gets caught half way.

Lastly, I think it would, if this is possible, really be cool if it worked liked real typing rate programs work, where it deducts so much for mistakes or whatever. It was fun to play around on though, and again I thought the layout was pretty cool.

It does not give you a final number it just counts as you go. Therefore what's the purpose is setting the time limits. It also does not take into account of errors. Great Widget and an awesome idea, but at least as far as I go, it would not work. Would be better if it took in account errors to deduct and gave you a final number for number of words counted. It would also be cool if it saved the infor for how much a person counted and allowed multiple users and therefore kept a high score… for yourself and for who has the highest over all. When I say over all, I just mean for each person that used the widget on the same pc.

Okay, i take a typing class in school and this is the best widget for me to go home and practice my typing. Really, you should download this program, it is so cool! Type on it for 30 minutes straight for every day and you will become a natural typer. I did that and when I first started using the widget, I typed at 20 WPM, but now I type at 70 WPM! Take my advice and download this widget NOW!
