YowI love this widget... definitely written by a sudoku enthusiast. you can choose to have all the little numbers written out and you can erase the little numbers as you solve the puzzle. And the hints are great...they really helped me improve my game. The only problem is that when I try to put in on marble...there is a tile missing in the middle panel. I have xp home. Otherwise it is great

inara_i1) Fade out a number that is solved (a number is solved if all 9 occurrences are found).
2) Add ability to detect Swordfish, X-wing and Y-wing patterns.

Pips, anyone?
Rain AudiartThe "candidate" numbers are obtrusive, and the design is much to obtrusive, but the game mechanics are good.
Why not use pips for candidate numbers? It would save a lot of space and be less of an eyesore.
