Wonderful idea and much needed IF it actually worked. My "Fav" tab remains transparent and non-functional even after I have typed in a URL, ie, http://www.yahoo.com or http://www.google.com. After typing the URL into the provided window and checking the "check mark" to save it in Fav, it obviously does not save it b/c when I place the cursor on the "Fav" tab, the tab disappears. Instead, the tab remains transparent and non-addressable. It does not work or else I am just stupid. Good idea though.

Why doesn't the enter key make it go? I don't want to have to click on the "Go" button every time. Otherwise, this thing's great.

Wow, more search engines would be great! I can't wait to try that out! Maybe you could add a function in which users can choose which search engines they want included and which not via the settings menu?
Good luck moving and I can't wait to see what you come up with! (btw, please add imdb ;-)

    Hi Ferill,

That's a good idea, although I don't think it's possible to make 'plugins' like that, but I could (ofcourse) release updates which include more search engines and options. I think I'm going to foloow your idea when I have the time (I'm currently moving to a new home! so not much time now)...

    Cheers!

    Great application!
And it would be even greater if users could add search engines, either preset via the preferences menu or otherwise custom made.
For example now under the search bar we find the buttons 'fetch', 'google' and 'google image'. But it would be great if where also be an 'imdb' button to it, to search the imdb database, or an 'amazon' button. I really hope you are going to add such a functionality to your program, it would make it the best search widget out there!!! Please respond
